1. About Brikje

Brikje is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace where users can buy and sell LEGO sets. We provide escrow-based payments, dispute resolution, and a safe trading environment.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Parents/guardians may supervise children in using the platform.
• You must provide accurate and complete account information.

3. Buying on Brikje

• Browse listings, add sets to your cart, and pay securely via our checkout.
• Payments are held in escrow until you confirm receipt of the order, or 3 days after delivery if no issues are reported.
• Report problems (e.g., incomplete, damaged, or misdescribed sets) within 3 days of receiving your order.

4. Selling on Brikje

• Sellers must provide honest, accurate listings (condition, completeness, photos).
• Once sold, you must ship within 3 days using the prepaid shipping label provided.
• Payment is released once the buyer confirms receipt or 3 days after delivery if no dispute is raised.
• Selling counterfeit or unsafe items is strictly prohibited.

5. Fees & Payments

• Buyers may pay via credit/debit cards, iDEAL, PayPal, or other methods supported.
• Brikje may charge service fees (clearly shown at checkout).
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partners (Stripe/Adyen).

6. Returns & Disputes

• Buyers must report issues within 3 days of delivery.
• If the set does not match the listing, Brikje may arrange a return, refund, or partial refund.
• The final resolution will be handled fairly between buyer, seller, and Brikje support.

7. Account Rules

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You may not use Brikje for fraud, money laundering, or prohibited items.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Liability

• Brikje acts as an intermediary. The contract of sale is between buyer and seller.
• We are not liable for user misconduct, delays by shipping providers, or loss beyond the escrow rules.
• To the extent allowed by law, Brikje’s liability is limited to the amount of the disputed transaction.

9. Intellectual Property

• “Brikje” name, logo, and platform design are owned by Brikje B.V.
• LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which is not affiliated with Brikje.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of The Netherlands.
